We know it is a bit tricky for now, and we are working on improving the interface. But for now, you can add users from the search results you get when searching for people. You can do a search from http://Ikbis.com/search. In the search results you will find a “Add to my contacts” link. Once clicked, a dialogue will appear asking you to which group does this person belong; friends, family, relatives.
You can also add a user as a contact from her/his profile page. E.g. http://Ikbis.com/humeid/profile
And just as a reminder, in both cases, you will need to be logged into your Ikbis account.
Yes. You can have a contact belonging to all three groups (family, relatives, friends) or to more than one group.
Once you are added on someone else’s contacts list, Ikbis will send you an e-mail notification instantly.
You can edit your profile from the My Account page. You will find a link to “Edit profile”.
Your profile page will contain your horoscope sign; e.g. Scorpio, Aries, Taurus…etc, and your sex. If you have chosen to keep your sex as a secret, it will appear as “It’s a secret”! We will also disclose the country you live in, as indicated by you when you signed up.
You may have already noticed that some photos and videos have comments below them from other Ikbis users. Commenting is a great way for Ikbis users to interact and express their opinions about the photos and videos they view. You need to sign up for an Ikbis account, and be logged in, to be able to leave comments on the photos and videos you see on Ikbis.
That’s up to you. By default, when you sign up, commenting on your photos and videos is disabled. You can go to the My Account link on the top of the page, when you’re logged, to change your commenting preferences. We encourage people to enable commenting on their photos and videos. It is always cool to receive comments on your photos and videos. You can also enable commenting for users whom you have added as contacts.
No. You can not edit comments that you have left for others once they are submitted.
Yes. You need to be logged in, and from the page of the photo or video that you received comments on, you will see an “edit comment” link and “delete comment” link beside every comment. Alternatively, you can use the Comments pages by choosing it from the main menu. From there you can see all recent comments you received, and monitor comments of different photos and videos.
You can monitor comments that you received no matter how old they are. You can also view your all times list of comments you have left for others.
Yes. Beside you moderating your comments, we also do a fast moderation of comments. If a comment contains offensive language, we will delete that comment completely.
Words can be as offensive as photos and videos, so it is to the benefit of our Utopian Ikbis Community, that you are part of, to monitor comments as well ; )
